Since 2018, the focus has once again shifted more towards live performances in order to be able to present the many newly acquired field recordings, revised songs and previously unpublished pieces in a completely re-arranged live set. For this purpose, Forest Roots started again in the summer of 2018 with live performances, not only to bridge the time to the upcoming third studio album by Nemo & Jaymon, but also to perform the second new movie 'Wandered Moments'.

This release features newly reworked sound material specially modified for the 'Wandered Moments' live performances and adapted for the film, again strengthened with the stellar voice by Jeremy Clarke, who in some passages speaks short phrases from his own contemporary works, as well as some brief excerpts from the rare poems of H.P. Lovecraft.

Due to the composition of the entire liveset, resulting in almost 84 minutes of rich and lined-up material, the pieces of this release are not quite as long as our usual works on CD albums, but they give a good idea of what is still coming in the future and what we have previously held unpublished, such as the mystically stretched out version of Nemo's "Nachtwanderung" and his lo-fi hip-hop version of "Abenddämmerung". Jaymon also adapted his tracks known from "Wanderings" and presented some unreleased pieces from his upcoming solo album on Forest Roots during the last two live sets.

About one third of the entire liveset still contains confidential material and it is still too early to publish this at this time. But we can say, even if it seems a bit quiet at the moment about Forest Roots, that many things are already running in the background. The tracks compiled in this live release were taken from the Schwalbentanz Open Air Festival and the Lokomov Liveset between 2018 and 2019.
